2021 Referee Courses Now Open For Enrolment

There's never been a better time to become a touch footy referee, and with the start of the 2021 season fast approaching, now's your chance to get accredited!

The Townsville Touch Referees Association, together with Townsville Touch Football and NQ Touch Football, have scheduled a full suite of accreditation courses for touch football referees, from foundation (Level 1) to talent (Level 3), and best of all they're FREE* TO ATTEND!

For beginner referees, and those who have never held a Touch Football Australia referee accreditation before, a LEVEL 1 course will be held on Saturday 20 March 2021.

The Level 1 accreditation requires a short online course to be completed (the Sport Australia Community Officiating General Principles course) prior to attending the four (4) hourĀ face-to-face workshop.

Returning referees with at least twelve (12) months experience are encouraged to enrol into the LEVEL 2 course, which will be held on the same day and only requires attendance at the four (4) hour face-to-face session.

For more experienced referees, especially those interested in officiating at state and youth national representative events, a LEVEL 3 course will be held on Saturday 27 March 2021. The course is open to all current Level 2 referees who have held their accreditation for at least twelve (12) months.

Enrolment for all three accreditation courses is done via Touch Football Australia's The NEST - touchfootball.etrainu.com.

A step-by-step to creating your profile on The NEST, and enrolling in your first course, can be found on the Become a Referee page of the TTRA website.

To enrol for free, you'll first need to create your profile on The NEST, and then contact courses@ttra.org.au to request your PROMO CODE.
