Townsville Touch Football organises competitions in both the Winter and Summer seasons each year.

The Winter Season

The Winter Season runs from early March until the end of July or early August each year. There are four competitions run during this time catering for senior players. The Premier Club Competition is an open-age competition which is held on Sunday afternoons. To participate in this competition players must be a member of one of the seven local clubs. The competition features Men's and Women's divisions, with teams graded from Division 1 to Division 6.

On Monday nights a graded, mixed-gender competition is held which caters for individual (non-club) teams. The competition caters for the competitive as well as the social player alike.

An 'All Abilities' (non-club) competition is also held on Monday nights. This competition is run by our Happy Touch sub-committee and commences mid-May with finals towards the end of July.  This competition caters for players with a physical and/or intellectual disability, with the focus on ability NOT disability and has modified rules to ensure all players have lots of fun. Players just nominate and are then put into teams.

On Tuesday nights the Veteran's  competition is held and caters for the more mature-aged player. The age divisions are Over 30+  and teams do not need to be part of a club to participate.

Summer Season

The Summer season starts towards the end August and runs until mid-December. All competitions in the Summer are for individual teams and, as they are graded, cater for both the serious player as well as the social or beginner player.

Competitions are played on Monday night (which is a mixed-gender competition) and Wednesday nights (which features separate men's, women's and mixed competitions).

Junior Competitions

Junior competitions are conducted from late August to early December, boys and girls divisions are played on Thursday nights (for age groups 13-16) and Friday nights (for age groups 7 to 12). All games are played at Queens Park.

The competitions are club-based, in-line with the senior Premier Club competitions.
