Townsville Touch Football recognises volunteering as a respected and critical role within touch football and the wider sporting community.
As an official supporter we are committed to taking action within our touch football community to help improve the experience of our volunteers and to attract and retain more volunteers within our sport.
The Sport Volunteer Coalition Action Plan is a four-year plan developed through the Australian Sports Commission to enable more Australians to volunteer in sport and enhance the sport volunteering experience. The ASC leads the implementation of the Action Plan, with the Sport Volunteer Coalition members supporting the delivery across four strategic themes – Celebrate, Empower, Reimagine and Innovate.
