QLD Touch Football Appoints New CEO

Queensland Touch Football (QTF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Corey Bell as the organisation’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Bell will join QTF mid-March 2020 and brings over 20 years’ experience in commercial, administration, events and game development for multiple sports and organisations. This more recently included a key role in the delivery of the innovative Trade and Investment program of the 2018 Commonwealth Games and in 2019 the successful delivery of the world’s largest sports conference SportAccord on the Gold Coast, the first time ever held in Australia.

QTF Chairman Mr. Gavin Shuker said, “we were presented with a high-quality list of candidates through the course of the recruitment process and we feel that his experience and leadership will serve us well as we strive to grow the game and continue to undertake a Governance, Constitution and Operating Model Review”.

Mr. Bell was equally excited to lead the organisation. In discussing his recent appointment Bell said “I am honoured and excited to be appointed Chief Executive Officer of Queensland Touch Football. I am looking forward to joining an amazing team of staff and volunteers to help continue the momentum of Queensland Touch Football and the delivery of the roll-out phase of the governance review.

As part of his role, Bell will be responsible for managing the state organisation, which includes multiple regions, 72 Affiliations and over 80,000 participants.
