After fifteen rounds of touch football, it all comes down to three massive weekends across eleven grades.
Here’s how the finals series will play out across the next three weeks:
- Week 1: Semi Finals — 1st v 2nd (Major Semi Final), 3rd v 4th (Elimination Final)
 - Week 2: Preliminary Finals — loser of Major Semi v winner of Elimination
 - Week 3: Grand Final — winner of Major Semi v winner of Preliminary Final

All Grand Finals will be played on Saturday 2 August, with everything on the line.
Colliers Shield Men’s 1st Grade
Brothers finished as minor premiers and will take on Redskins in the Major Semi — the same match-up that kicked off the season way back in Round 1. Brothers have featured in every Grand Final since 2020 and will be desperate to extend that streak to six straight appearances. Redskins have beaten them twice this season and won’t be afraid to throw everything at them.
On the other side, Frogs and Sharks square off in a do-or-die Elimination Final. Frogs have been hot and cold, but when they’re on, they can match anyone. Sharks are building nicely and grabbed a massive win over Brothers just last week. That result will give them confidence heading into what could be the closest match of the weekend.
Women’s 1st Grade
It’s been a long time since Rum Runners didn’t finish a regular season on top, but Brothers have finally broken their dominance. The two sides will meet in the Major Semi, with Brothers hoping to book back-to-back Grand Final appearances. Rum Runners are aiming for an unbelievable tenth consecutive premiership and have made a habit of bouncing back when it matters most.
In the Elimination Final, Frogs take on Redskins in another match that could go either way. Frogs only narrowly missed a top-two finish and will be stinging from a tight Round 15 loss. Redskins have had an up-and-down year but have pulled off some big scalps — and they’ll be out to cause an upset.
Around the Grounds
While the spotlight often falls on 1st Grade, the stories unfolding across the other divisions are just as compelling.
In Men’s 2nd Grade, Rum Runners have looked sharp all year and will head into the finals as deserved minor premiers — but Jots-Tigers, and Brothers are circling, while last year's grand finalists Redskins are looking to avenge their 2024 result.
Men’s 3rd Grade has been one of the tightest comps of the year, with just six points separating the top four teams of Crocs, Brothers Blue, Jots-Tigers, and Rum Runners, across a season that’s delivered close contests almost every round.
Over in Men’s 4th Grade, it’s been a real grind all season — Sharks, Redskins, Frogs Green, and Jots-Tigers all finished within striking distance of each other and will take plenty of belief into Week 1.
Men’s 5th Grade has seen another tight season with the top four teams of Rum Runners, Brothers, Redskins, and Frogs all within three points of each other and all with momentum heading into the finals series this week.
In Women’s 2nd Grade, the former Women's 1st grade Crocs have dominated alongside last year's grand finalists Jots-Tigers, and are now one win away from a Grand Final spot. They’ll come up against a determined Jots-Tigers side, while Brothers and Sharks will scrap it out in the knockout lane.
Women’s 3rd Grade could deliver a full-club showdown, with both Redskins Gold and Redskins White qualifying for the finals while Brothers Blue and Jots-Tigers will be doing their best to break up the family reunion.
In Women’s 4th Grade, Sharks Black and Sharks Blue have been dominant, but the depth of the comp means anyone in the top four is capable of turning the tables on the right day.
The Women’s 5th Grade top four has chopped and changed multiple times this season, and there’s every chance of another twist or two before Grand Final day.
And in Women’s 6th Grade, Jots-Tigers finished clear on top of the table, with daylight separating them from second-placed Brothers White and the two Frogs sides. That one’s wide open — and set for some cracking contests.
No matter which field you’re watching this Sunday, there’ll be something on the line. Some teams are chasing back-to-back titles. Some are looking to break through for the first time. And a few are just hoping their fairytale run has one more chapter to write.
