In Men’s 1st Grade, Redskins returned to the big dance with a 6–4 win over Frogs. It marks their first Grand Final appearance since 2022 — the year they defeated Brothers 7–5 to lift the shield. The two sides will now meet again in a blockbuster showdown between the minor premiers and a club with a long history of delivering when it counts.
Women’s 1st Grade saw Frogs bring an end to Rum Runners’ incredible nine-year premiership streak with a 3–1 win. It’s the first time since before 2015 that a W1 Grand Final won’t feature Rum Runners, whose dominance across the past decade has shaped the division. Frogs will now face Brothers in a title decider that promises a new chapter in the competition’s history.
In Men’s 2nd Grade, Brothers booked their Grand Final spot with a 10–1 demolition of Jots-Tigers — the most dominant result of the day. They’ll now meet Rum Runners, the minor premiers, in a rematch of their Round 15 clash where Brothers took the win.
Women’s 2nd Grade was all Jots-Tigers, who controlled their match from the outset and ran away with a 9–2 win over Brothers. It sets up a Grand Final clash with Crocs — a former W1 powerhouse now aiming for top honours in W2.
There was extra time drama in Women’s 6th Grade, with Jots-Tigers edging out Frogs Black 4–3 in the only match of the day to go beyond regular time. The win earns Jots-Tigers a crack at Brothers White in Saturday’s decider.
With eleven divisions now locked and loaded, all eyes turn to Grand Final day this Saturday — the biggest day of the Colliers Shield season.
