In the headline Women's 1st Grade clash, Frogs have ended the Rum Runners’ incredible streak of nine consecutive titles with a 3–1 win in the Preliminary Final. The Rum Runners dynasty has been one of the most dominant in recent memory, but the torch may be passing to a new contender. Frogs will now face Brothers in the decider, and with Rum Runners’ decade of dominance now at an end, the question becomes — who will take on the mantle?
Men's 1st Grade promises to be another blockbuster. Brothers have been the benchmark all season and now line up for their sixth consecutive Grand Final appearance. But standing in their way are a resurgent Redskins side who return to the decider for the first time since 2022 — a year they famously beat Brothers 7–5 to take the title. The question now: can Brothers cap off a dominant season, or will Redskins deliver in the moments that matter?
Men’s 2nd Grade features a showdown between the competition’s two standout sides. Minor premiers Rum Runners have lost just three games all year — but one of those came against their Grand Final opponents, Brothers. The rematch promises to be anything but one-sided.
Women’s 2nd Grade is shaping as a must-watch, with former top-tier club Crocs returning to the big stage to take on Jots-Tigers, who were runners-up in last year’s decider. Both teams have looked strong throughout the finals series and will be eyeing redemption.

The day kicks off from 2:00 PM, with four matches getting things underway:
- Field 1 – Men’s 3rd Grade: Jots-Tigers vs Crocs
- Field 2 – Women’s 4th Grade: Sharks Blue vs Redskins
- Field 5 – Men’s 5th Grade: Rum Runners vs Frogs
- Field 6 – Women’s 6th Grade: Brothers White vs Jots-Tigers
At 2:50 PM, TTF’s Happy Touch All Abilities programme will take centre stage for a special exhibition match, showcasing the spirit, talent, and inclusiveness of touch football.
From 3:10 PM, the next wave of Grand Finals takes over:
- Field 1 – Men’s 2nd Grade: Rum Runners vs Brothers
- Field 2 – Women’s 2nd Grade: Crocs vs Jots-Tigers
- Field 5 – Women’s 3rd Grade: Redskins Gold vs Brothers Blue
- Field 6 – Men’s 4th Grade: Redskins vs Sharks
- Field 7 – Women’s 5th Grade: Jots-Tigers vs Brothers
Then the stage is set for the day’s two showcase events.
At 4:00 PM, the Women’s 1st Grade Grand Final kicks off on Field 1, with Isabella Carta from The Voice Singing School performing the national anthem ahead of play.
At 5:00 PM, the Men’s 1st Grade Grand Final brings the curtain down on the 2025 season, with John Scanlan from The Cathedral School delivering the anthem before kick-off.
